Town Bones was born in late 2010 with the idea of making up a group able to perform instrumental versions of famous rock and funk style themes and their own songs only with the voices of trombones and a rhythm section.

They offer a wide repertoire of versions, specifically arranged for this ensemble, ranging from funk, soul, bossa, rock, … besides their own themes which are also presented in their performances.

They have covers of Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Saint Germain, Jimi Hendrix, Big Sam and Funky Nation, Rage Against the Machine … and other classics like Summertime, The Girl from Ipanema, American Woman, Goldfinger, Sunny, … among others.

Although they cover different musical styles, the group is defined as a group of FUNK-ROCK music.
