Ensembles

Texas A&M University-Kingsville was founded in 1925 and is the most comprehensive and only predominantly residential university in South Texas. Located in Kingsville, a city of approximately 25,000, the university enrolls nearly 8,000 students.
Music Department
The Department of Music offers comprehensive programs leading to the following degrees: Bachelor of Music in Performance, Teacher Certification, Performance with an Emphasis in Piano Pedagogy, Performance with an Emphasis in Jazz Studies; Master of Music in Music Education. The department enrolls approximately 210 undergraduate students and 10 graduate students. The music programs prepare students for various career opportunities such as music educators, administrators, and professional musicians. Facilities include the Music Annex and the Bellamah Music Building which is located in the Frank C. Smith Fine Arts Complex and contains classrooms, studios, practice facilities, rehearsal halls, music technology center, recital hall and auditorium. The Department of Music is an accredited member of the Texas Association of Music Schools and the National Association of Schools of Music.
