Kei Hikichi

Born in Tokyo. She studied piano at the Kichijo High School and the “Toho Gaukuen” University in Tokyo with Professor Kyoko Edo where she earned the title of “Bachelor” in music. Later she continued her studies in piano and chamber music at the Academy of “Santa Cecilia” in Rome with teachers Sergio Perticaroli and Felix Ayo.

She has performed both as a soloist and chamber music performer in Europe and Asia. As an accompanist piano player she has collaborated with Volker Tessmann, Christian Wetzel, Guy Touvron, Ab Koster, and Radovan Vlatković.

During the 2003-2004 academic year she has been a teacher and accompanist at the Musikhochschule “Felix Mendelssohn” in Leipzig.

Currently she works as an accompanist piano player at the “Jose Iturbi” Conservatory of Valencia
