Jose Antonio Cubas Delgado was born in Las Palmas Gran Canaria.  He studied trombón and tenor tuba at the Conservatorio Superior de Música with Deanna Dee Decker (trombone), and David Llacer (Tuba).  He has performed with many Orchestras in Spain, most frequently with la Orquesta Sinfónica de Tenerife and the Orquesta Filarmónica de Gran Canaria.  He is the trombone profesor and vice director of the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Canarias, as well as the founder and director of the Orquesta Filarmonica Juvenil de Tenerife.  “Miguel Jaubert”.
