Born in Vilamarxant (Valencia), Gaspar Sanchis makes the advanced studies of slide trombone and Bass saxhorn in the higher conservatory of Valencia. Afterwards, he increases his trombone studies with Jacques Mauguer, teacher of the higher conservatory of Paris and Gilles Millière in Paris. Moreover he makes perfection courses with the teachers Alain Trudel, Joe Alessi, Caster Svamberg, Indalecio Bonet…

He gets the award of final degree in his both instrumental specialities. Subsequently he makes the orchestra conducting studies with the master Manuel Galduf in the Higher Conservatory of Valencia getting the highest marks. Equally takes studies of harmony, counterpoint, fugue and composition with the teachers César Cano, Ramón Pastor y Emilio Calandín.

He increases his Studies of orchestra conducting in Berlín with the masters Jorma Panula, Colin Metters y Kenneth Kiesler. In the Vienna Master Courses (Viena) receives lessons of the master Salvador Mas y Jörg Bierhacer. He attends to the Piero Gamba and Anton Garcia Abril Master Class among others.  He makes postgraduate studies of the Musicology speciality in the Polytechnic University of Valencia.
