The Swiss American composer Daniel Schnyder bridges the worlds of todays music, combining classical music traditions with ethinc music and jazz idioms.

The latest projects 2014/5 included the Opera: ‘Charlie Parker’s Yardbird‘ for OPERA PHILADELPHIA , the Opera ‘Abraham’,premiered in Duesseldorf in 2014 as well as the Concerto for String Quartet and Orchestra: ‘IMPETUS’, written for the Artemis String Quartet and premiered in the Alte Opera in Frankfurt in December 2014.
